Recalls/Holds
What is a recall?
Users who need material that is currently charged out can place a hold or recall against the item. A recall is to be used in cases where the item will not be returned in a reasonable amount of time (2-3 weeks).
How to place a recall/hold?
Online: following instructions below for Recalls/Holds
- Search for item in Killam Library Catalog.
- Click on "Requests" at the bottom of the page.
- You will be taken to the account login screen.
- Type in your TAMIU ID No. and last name.
