Photocopying of library materials should comply with the provisions of the Copyright Act 1987. Photocopying and reproducing from books, journals, periodicals, etc., constitutes infringement of copyright unless the copying falls within the exceptions. The valid exceptions are those related to research and teaching purposes. The user is liable for all copyright infringements.
The exception stated above does not apply to commercial and industrial research. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of Copyright Law.
