- Ben's Guide to U.S. Government - Don't be offended that this site purports to be "for kids." This site provides excellent, clear perspectives on the major work of U.S. Government.
- GPOAccess.gov - very much a fulltext resource, GPOAccess is currently the premier outlet for Federal Government-produced information. All the main work of government from all of its branches and agencies is represented here.
- The
National Archives - NARA offers excellent, fulltext and in most cases full-image versions of important, foundational historic documents such as The Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, Louisiana Purchase, etc.
