Encyclopedia Britannica Online Academic Edition (BOL): The Encyclopedia Britannica Online Academic Edition is based on the Encyclopaedia Britannica, the largest and most authoritative encyclopedia in the world. Continuously updated, it includes over 75,000 articles and more than 23,000 biographies. It also includes the Year in Review Browse going back to 1993. In addition to the encyclopedia, BOL includes various research tools such as World Data Analysis, a World Atlas, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary of Quotations, and the Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus.

OED Online - Oxford English Dictionary: The Oxford English Dictionary provides authoritative definitions of over 500,000 words. It traces the usage of words from their first recorded occurrences to the modern period through 2.5 million quotations from a wide range of international language sources.

Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia: For students and adults alike, the Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia database indexes over 25,000 records, covering an array of topics. Full text for each record may be easily accessed by double clicking on the topic from the display. The database contains various images, offers brief biographies as well as information in a variety of subject areas. This database is updated annually.

CollegeSource Online: CollegeSource Online is a virtual library representing 38,089 college catalogs and over 31,900,000 course description. It features over 22,000 college catalogs in complete cover-to-cover, original page format including 2-year, 4-year, graduate, professional and international schools.

Academic Universe - (Lexis-Nexis): LexisNexis Academic Universe provides access to full-text news, business, and legal publications, using a variety of flexible search options. Over 40 different databases are available by cagegory: News (U.S. and international papers, newswires, news magazines, media transcripts, blogs, some updated hourly), General (as News, plus business, industry, and healthcare publications), Legal (federal, state, Canadian, and EU statutes and court cases, law reviews, patents), Business (company dossiers, profiles, and financial reports), and People (who’s whos and obituaries).

Handbook of Texas: The Handbook of Texas Online is a multidisciplinary encyclopedia of Texas history, geography, and culture sponsored by the Texas State Historical Association and the General Libraries at UT Austin.

Who's Who: Biographical profiles on over 1.4 million prominent persons worldwide, past and present, from the Marquis Who's Who reference book series.

Digital Dissertations - (Proquest): Doctoral dissertations and master's theses are a vital fund of scholarship for any discipline. The massive body of work available through ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) represents the most comprehensive source of academic research in the world.

EBSCO Animals: It's an encyclopedia of Animals that offers in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals. The database consists of indexing, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals.

Eighteenth Century Collections Online - (Gale): Use Eighteenth Century Collections Online to access the digital images of every page of 150,000 books published during the 18th Century. With full-text searching of approximately 26 million pages, the product allows researchers new methods of access to critical information in the fields of history, literature, religion, law, fine arts, science and more.

FDsys (Federal Digital System): FDSys stands for Federal Digital System, which is a searchable database providing comprehensive and full text online access to a wide range of official federal government publications. It replaces the now-defunct GPO Access.

FirstSearch - (OCLC): It contains bibliographic citations from the dissertations and theses from institutions in North America and Europe.

Gale Literary Databases: Provides access to three premier literature resources with a single search. Simultaneously search Contemporary Authors (CA), Contemporary Literary Criticism Select (CLC Select), and Dictionary of Literary Biography (DLB), you'll find in-depth information on the lives and writings of more than 127,000 authors along with critical reaction to their works. This series includes integrated indexes to both the DLB and CLC print series.

Gale Virtual Reference Library: The sources that Gale Virtual Reference Library offers in eBook format include multi-volume encyclopedias, biographical collections, business plan handbooks, company history compilations, consumer health references, and specialized reference sources. Health & Wellness resource Center - (Gale): Health & Wellness Resource Center (HWRC) is a comprehensive resource for libraries, schools, and hospitals that provides integrated access to medical, statistical, health, and wellness information through a Web interface. Including the respected Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine, HWRC delivers up-to-date reference material as well as full-text magazines, journals, and pamphlets from a wide variety of authoritative medical sources. Additionally, consumers, students, and professionals are provided with descriptions of and links to several pertinent Web sites.

Health Reference Center Academic - (Gale): Health Reference Center -- Academic integrates the full text and images of respected nursing, allied health and medical journals; consumer health magazines; newsletters; pamphlets; newspaper articles; topical overviews; and reference books.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic - (EBSCO): This database provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition also features abstracts and indexing for nearly 850 journals. This database is updated twice a week.

International Financial Statistics - International Monetary Fund: Contains world tables, country tables, commodity prices, etc…

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) - (EBSCO): Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts,(LISTA) indexes more than 600 periodicals, plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.
