Research Library (Proquest): Search the full collection of journals, magazines and newspapers for information on a broad range of general subjects. (Includes APS Online and Historical New York Times.)

JSTOR: JSTOR is a not-for-profit organization with a dual mission to create and maintain a trusted archive of important scholarly journals, and to provide access to these journals as widely as possible. JSTOR offers researchers the ability to retrieve high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. JSTOR is an interdisciplinary archive of hundreds of journals in the arts, humanities, business and social sciences.

MLA (Modern Language Association) International Bibliography (EBSCO): The most comprehensive database for resources on languages and literature worldwide. Includes bibliographic citations to journal articles,dissertations and book chapters. Use SFX to link to full-text, when available.

Communication Institute for Online Scholarship - (CIOS): CIOS is an online resource for students and faculty in the field of communications, with links to news items of interest, upcoming conferences, and online journal articles. It also provides ComAbstracts and CIOS Author/Title Search.

Communication Source - (CMMC) (EBSCO): Communication and Mass Media Complete offers cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for over 370 journals and selected coverage of over 239 more. This database includes full text for more than 240 journals and it features over 3,000 Author Profiles.

Gale Literary Databases: Provides access to three premier literature resources with a single search. Simultaneously search Contemporary Authors (CA), Contemporary Literary Criticism Select (CLC Select), and Dictionary of Literary Biography (DLB), you'll find in-depth information on the lives and writings of more than 127,000 authors along with critical reaction to their works. This series includes integrated indexes to both the DLB and CLC print series.

Literature Resource Center: Full-text journal articles, literary criticism, reviews, biographical information, and overviews on over 130,000 writers in all disciplines, from all time periods and from around the world.

Project Muse: 100% full text coverage of scholarly journals in the fields of literature, politics policy studies economics, education, film, religion and women's studies.

Hispanic American Periodicals Index - (HAPI) - Spanish language content: The Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI) is your source for over 265,000 journal article citations about Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, and Hispanics/Latinos in the United States. HAPI currently provides over 34,000 links to the full text of articles appearing in more than 500 key social science and humanities journals published throughout the world.

20th Century American Poetry - (Proquest): This collection includes 50,000 poems drawn from 750 volumes by over 300 poets.

20th Century English Poetry - (Proquest): A collection of more than 600 volumes of poetry by 283 poets from 1900 to the present day.

Contemporary Authors - (Gale): Provides complete biographical and bibliographical information and references on all of the more than 120,000 U.S. and international authors whose entries appear in Contemporary Authors and Contemporary Authors New Revision Series. Updated monthly, Contemporary Authors allows users to search for an author by name, title of work, nationality, date and place of birth and death, subject/genre, personal and career information, awards and honors, and more.

Contemporary Literary Criticism - (Gale): Contemporary Literary Criticism--Select is an extensive collection of more than 11,000 critical essays on contemporary authors. Each CLC--Select entry contains a biographical/critical introduction, a list of principal works, critical essays, and sources for further study. Updated monthly, Contemporary Literary Criticism--Select allows users to search by author name, title of work, nationality, subject/genre, ethnicity, critic name, and more.

Dictionary of Literary Biography - (Gale): Dictionary of Literary Biography provides nearly 10,000 biographical and critical essays on the lives, works, and careers of influential literary figures from all eras and genres.

Early English Books Online: Early English Books Online (EEBO) will contain over 125,000 titles listed in Pollard & Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640), Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700), and the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661). "Searchable fields include Author, Title, Printer, Publication date, Type of illustration, and Library of Congress subject heading." Records are linked to the corresponding page images downloadable in PDF.

Eighteenth Century Collections Online - (Gale): Use Eighteenth Century Collections Online to access the digital images of every page of 150,000 books published during the 18th Century. With full-text searching of approximately 26 million pages, the product allows researchers new methods of access to critical information in the fields of history, literature, religion, law, fine arts, science and more.

Electronic Collections Online - (OCLC): OCLC List of 19 full text & 11 citation/abstract databases.

Fuente Académica - Spanish language content: Fuente Academica is a unique collection of scholarly journals from renowned Latin American and Spanish publishers. This multi-disciplinary database offers full text content to many academic areas including business & economics, medical sciences, political science, law, computer science, library & information sciences, literature, linguistics, history, philosophy and theology. This database provides full text (including PDF) for 260 scholarly Spanish language journals. Content is provided in Spanish from respected publishers worldwide, including Revista de Arquitectura, Estudios Sobre Educacion, Revista de Estudios Hispanicos, Comunicacion y Sociedad, Revista de Ciencia Politica, Revista Historia, and more.

Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia: For students and adults alike, the Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia database indexes over 25,000 records, covering an array of topics. Full text for each record may be easily accessed by double clicking on the topic from the display. The database contains various images, offers brief biographies as well as information in a variety of subject areas. This database is updated annually.

Gale Virtual Reference Library: The sources that Gale Virtual Reference Library offers in eBook format include multi-volume encyclopedias, biographical collections, business plan handbooks, company history compilations, consumer health references, and specialized reference sources. Twayne's Authors Series - (Gale): Comprises 600 full-text book titles from the Twayne Literary Masters series, U.S. and British authors.

Web of Science: The Web of Science is a comprehensive citation database service comprised of seven databases containing information gathered from thousands of scholarly journals, books, book series, reports, and conferences. This resource contains the Science Citation Index, the Social Sciences Citation Index, and the Arts & Humanities Citation Index.

Resources in American literature are found at the LC call numbers PS, English literature at PR, and PQ for Spanish literature--specifically PQ6006 for literature of Spain and PQ7081 for Latin American literature (all on the 3rd floor). Although some juvenile/young adult books are integrated into the general collection, most will be located in the Juvenile Section on the second floor.
